I am just about to upgrade my computer, so that I can edit my film. I would like to know if Adobe Premier 5, is compatable with the ATI Radeon 64mb VIVO card.
Cheers.

Adobe Premiere is not what you have to really worry about. Its the capture that you purchace and the format which you will be working on (Are u editing DV, Video, Film) cause each one will have different system requirements. The most be Hard Drives and RAM. (Note that normal (non-Scisi) drives will slow down as the get full.
DV requires a 3.6mb per second sustained Drive speed (I recommend a 7200 rpm drive)
Video requires around 30mbs a second.
Film Res is 250mb a sec.
These are all appox and it varries from capture card to capture card but they all fall close to this.

Thanks for your reply, I am using Video (non digital) for now. The rest of the Computer is
an AMD Athlon 1.2ghz chip, 256mb Ram and 2x 40gb hard drives.
